I'm currently at the school getting things marked for report cards. I'm the only person at the school, as far as I know, so I've been singing loudly in the hallways as I walk down to the copy room. Here's the song that's been stuck in my head today, so naturally I've been singing it to myself. I first heard the song in 1998 when I took an LP of the Ziegfeld Follies 1919 from the MacPherson Library at UVic. It was my first year at University and I enjoyed taking records out on a weekly basis. I found this one because I'd been looking for Eddie Cantor, who only showed up for one song on the record. I may have included this song on a mixtape I made for a friend; that may be the only reason I remember it. I'd like to find out if it's officially in the public domain. I've often considered recording a bunch of songs in the public domain, just for fun. Unfortunately, I don't have the time for such frivolous nonsense right now. And here's another song written by Harry Tierney. This one is funny, apparently, and the lead vocalist suffers from the "clinkers."
